Social media. It’s one of those things that seems to be mystifying for small businesses. Constantly-changing algorithms, what to post, how often to post, and above all WHERE to post. In this edition of 29 by 29, we’re answering that last question – do I need to be on every social media platform?
The answer is no. It’s far better to start small on one platform. Focus on optimizing that one single platform rather than spreading yourself too thin trying to be everywhere all the time. To determine which social media platform you should start with, do some research within your industry to find out which platform your audience uses most often.
But let’s say you’re rockin’ and rollin’ on social and you feel like you’re just not leveling-up like you thought you would. OR – we get this one a lot, too – you know the general idea for how to make social media work for you, but you’re too busy with the 294 other to-do’s on your plate for today…
