29 Design Studio Recognized for Brand Development by Communicator Awards

Rochester, NY – Branding agency, 29 Design Studio, has been recognized by the Communicator Awards for its achievements in brand development. The Fee Brothers Brand Book received the Award of Excellence, and the KAFL Brand Guide received the Award of Distinction.

“These documents are integral to strategic branding,” says Maureen Ballatori, Founder + CEO of the agency. “While I’m proud of how these look from a design standpoint, the real measure of success is their strategic impact on these companies and their work. It’s an honor to help our clients to create measurable change in their organizations.” The Brand Book was a first for the Fee Brothers, despite over 150 years in business. “Historically, Fee Brothers has done very little marketing,” Jon Spacher, CEO, has said. “We’ve let our products speak for themselves, and that strategy has worked. However, with our global growth over the past decade, more people want to know who we are.”

The Fee Brothers Brand Book is a visually engaging deck sharing the Fee Brothers’ multi-generational history and highlighting each of its product lines and offerings. Franca Mantisi designed it with oversight by 29 Design Studio Creative Director, Courtney Carroway and photography by Elizabeth Fuller Photography.

KAFL Insurance Resources is an insurance brokerage with regional sales offices in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and North Carolina, along with service team members supporting partners from all over the country. KAFL approached 29 Design Studio for a strategic brand refresh.

The KAFL rebrand and accompanying Brand Guide provide a high-level overview of how the KAFL brand feels, looks, and sounds. With these guidelines, the organization can ensure that those interacting with the KAFL brand have a cohesive and consistent experience across many touchpoints. Courtney Carroway created the Brand Guidelines document.
