ROCHESTER, NY – The American Marketing Association (AMA) recognized creative agency 29 Design Studio for remarkable work entered into the 2022 Pinnacle Awards. 29 Design Studio earned three awards this year, making it the second year in a row where their team has been recognized by the Pinnacle Awards.

Winner | Best in Branding (Not for Profit) for Geneva Made

Winner | Packaging for Brewery Ardennes

Winner | Small Business Campaign for The Green Cow

The Pinnacle Awards is AMA Rochester’s annual celebration of excellence in marketing. Awards are given in 27 different categories and each submission is judged by a non-bias panel of judges. Submissions are judged based on the effective, measurable results of the marketing efforts.

“I am so proud to see my team thriving in the work that they are doing with each other and our clients,” said 29 Design Studio Founder and CEO, Maureen Ballatori. “It’s an honor to be recognized for this work. We’re continuously energized by the food, beverage and agriculture industry, especially in New York State. To earn this recognition with and for our clients is very exciting.”

Best in Branding (Not for Profit) Winner, Geneva Made

The Geneva Made initiative, backed by the NYS Center of Excellence for Food and Agriculture at Cornell AgriTech and the City of Geneva, NY positions Geneva as the premier food/beverage industry destination in New York State. The goal is to attract companies across the nation looking for a city in which to establish their food/beverage business.

The award-winning branding relates back to the city’s identity (accomplished with color), references the food/beverage industry, and includes the brand’s tagline at all times. This is the fifth award that the Geneva Made branding has received.

Packaging Design Winner, Brewery Ardennes

Through a collaborative partnership with the Brewery Ardennes team, 29 Design Studio developed can labels, bottle labels, merchandise, coasters and a board game. Taking advantage of the Belgian-inspired nature of the brewery, the creative agency illustrated characters inspired by the owners’ dogs – Barley and Hops. A nod to vintage cartoons in the Franco-Belgian genre and Upstate NY, Barley and Hops bring humor and fun to a category that is about having a good time.

Small Business Campaign Winner, The Green Cow

29 Design Studio worked with Green Cow & Friends Butcher Shop to develop a relaunch campaign focused on creating a butcher shop tourism destination in Cooperstown, NY. Featuring in out-of-home, social media, print advertising, signage, landing page design, and collateral, this campaign brought “Cooperstown’s Perfect Hot Dog” to life.
